Are you frustrated because projects are not completed the way you envisioned or not completed at all?

Here are a few things to consider:

Who is providing the instruction/direction/request?

  • Should it be that person?
  • Are they a clear communicator?
  • Are they clear on the particulars of the project or task?

How is the information relayed?

  • Is it verbally and if so, should it be?
  • If via email, is the email clear and professional or filled with slang which can lead to confusion?

Many times in ministry, band-aid solutions are applied to miscommunication issues. You need to discover the root of the problem and make adjustments at that level.
