We are working on boundaries, we are becoming more focused, getting better organized and intentional. All of this is great! We need to do all of that, but are we also taking time to be creative?
The wonderful thing about creativity is that there are so many options available to experience and build up our creative side.
Here is a suggestion to consider, to help you become more creative!
- This may seem strange because it is not what you are expecting. Think of 2 creative activities that are interesting to you but you have no experience in that area. Why? Because this is for fun! You are not trying to be a better person, meet any goals, do it because someone else enjoys these actives. You do not have any artistic ability but always wanted to learn to paint, write it down.
- Pick one of your choices and find out how you can pursue it, even on a small scale. You do not need to sign-up for an art class, you can watch art videos on YouTube as a private class.
- Buy inexpensive painting supplies (because you do not know what you are doing), pick a time and go for it!
You can use this format for your creative opportunity. If you want to learn to play tennis, attend a group or take singing lessons to name a few, research, prepare for it and go for it. Have fun!
